Head of NFT Strategy

The Company
Our client is an incubation DAO that builds projects at the frontier of decentralized finance and web3 technology. They act as a co-founder to nascent projects by building alongside builders, providing resources like smart contract development, security audits, financial engineering, token modelling, legal compliance, community building, partnerships, fundraising and more. They launch early-stage protocols through strategic internal incubation and our DeFi Base Camp accelerator program.

The Role
You will uncover incubation opportunities in the NFT space to drive meaningful innovation in web3. Working with top DeFi protocol founders, You will establish thought leadership in NFT strategy for our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop NFT incubation thesis & research current innovation opportunities in Web3
• Use your creativity and vision of Web3 to develop NFT strategy
• Build relationships with NFT community, collection, and other NFT related ecosystem partners. Create meaningful engagement with those partners to develop our client's NFT community. 
• Produce research briefing and analysis on project ideas including initial due diligence and SWOT analysis
• Present your research findings to core team members and align different departments on NFT strategy. 
• Produce thought leadership content to drive social media exposure
• Support project founders in getting the NFT related resources they need to build and scale
• Lead the NFT partnerships agenda so that every partnership benefits our incubation projects in the short, medium, and long term
• Work closely with the rest of the global team to achieve your goals 

 

Key Skills/Experience needed

• Understands blockchain and NFT technology and its various use cases 
• Has great influencing skills and can effectively convey our value to project Founders
• Has a keen appreciation for branding, communities, and company values
• Prior experience and success designing and launching an NFT-based project whether centred around art, music, creative content, social media or other relevant applications
• Preferably based in New York or LA and has a network of influencers
